TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The 12 Points District invited the community for its monthly First Friday event.
Friday May 3, was the first event of many to come and the theme was Cinco de Mayo. Those who attended got to enjoy music, food, art, vendors, and a kid zone. First Fridays are a free event put on by the 12 Points District on the First Friday of every month.
Event Chair for 12 Points Revitalization Committee Delilah Rixner said it’s a great chance to get outside.
“What’s the harm in coming? Just come and see what’s happening. And just come and be involved. it’s nice to always support your community and we really want to be a place where people feel comfortable going,” she said.
Next months event will be on June 7, and it will be all things summer themed.
